At the root of the greenest side of Mount Kissavos (officially called Mount Ossa), in front of the cerulean Aegean Sea, the village of Koutsoupia is a veritable oasis. The village is named after the Koutsoupia tree, which is a beautiful tree bearing purple flowers in spring and green leaves in summer, and is found all around the area.
