Positive Reviews
positive:
Relaxing vacation.
Guests really got away from it all at the Melia Vacation Club Cozumel All Inclusive. They were able to trade in their sweaters for flip flops, and get down to the business of relaxing with a resort-wide laid back vibe, absent of the loud music and partying found at other hotels. A separate kids and adults pool also helped guests to unwind.
positive:
Spotless rooms.
Guest rooms were kept in immaculate condition, and visitors spoke highly of housekeeping staff that worked tirelessly to keep both the inside and outside of the hotel sparkling clean. If you are extra picky about cleanliness, this resort should pass the white glove test with flying colors.
positive:
Fun for the little ones.
The under ten crowd was well taken care of at this resort. Parents were confident that they were leaving kids in good hands, with enthusiastic staff members that children looked forward to seeing each day. Games, contests, and lots of physical activity tired out the little ones, and gave parents a chance to have some uninterrupted alone time.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Might be time for a makeover.
Dated rooms with older furnishings were noticeably in need of a refresh. Guests felt that a refurbishment was past due at the Melia Vacation Club Cozumel All Inclusive, and that newer decor would go a long way to making this resort really shine.
negative:
Mediocore food.
While many guests enjoyed the food at this hotel, others weren't as satisfied. Mexican items like guacamole and pico de gallo kept guests coming back for more, but some dishes were in need of improvement. Some also wished for a better variety during their week-long stay.
negative:
Coffee fanatics beware.
If you need your caffeine fix first thing in the morning, take note that there aren't any coffee making facilities in guests rooms. Guests would have loved to be able to brew a cup of joe to enjoy on their balconies.
