Negative Reviews
negative:
Though close, not close enough for some.
Luxe Sunset Boulevard is in close proximity UCLA, Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills. However, as the hotel is set back in a secluded area on several acres, this may not be the best location for everyone. Several guests have mentioned they wish it was a bit "closer to the action" and have felt it is not the best place to stay for those people interested in sightseeing and without a car.
negative:
Varying experiences with valet parking.
There have complaints about slow and lacking valet service, as well as high valet parking fees.
negative:
Noisy nights.
Due to allegedly thin walls in rooms, a number of guests have complained of hearing neighbors through all hours of the night, including guests with rooms above. Visitors have also mentioned hearing walking and talking in the hallways, as well as members of housekeeping in the early morning hours.
