Fantastic location
This hotel's location was highly commended by the vast majority of guests, who loved being so close to the shops, restaurants and clubs of Miami Beach. This boutique property is just adjacent to the sea, a little perk that really enhanced the stays of a number of guests.

The size of the mattresses here is most impressive, giving sleepers a great deal of room to stretch out and relax. Downstairs, to the absolute delight of many guests, this property's on-site restaurant and bar serves up huge portions of food and absolutely enormous cocktails.

Old property, small rooms
While many consider this hotel to be an Art Deco gem, for others, the property was just plain old. Both in terms of its interior and exterior, it was felt that major refurbishment was needed to bring the property up to a more modern spec. While smaller rooms can be the norm in older properties, many felt that the rooms here - and especially the bathrooms - were rather tight.

Noisy AC and missing amenities
It was also noted that the air conditioning in each room was rather noisy. For some, this did unfortunately lead to a disturbed night's rest as well as to a less than positive guest experience. Others also commented that in-room fridges and microwaves wouldn't have gone amiss here.

Bugs and customer service blips
Finally, a number of guests reported spotting roaches in their rooms and while most of the staff were helpful, quite a few visitors commented that the customer service here could be rather lackluster.
