About Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant
Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant is a luxury hotel on the shore line of Na Dal, a sea loch on the Isle of Skye.
Individually decorated en-suite rooms are in keeping with this peaceful setting and include super king bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, flat screen colour TV with DVD player, free Wi-Fi, telephone, hospitality tray and a selection of books. Bathrobes, towels and toiletries are also supplied.
Drawing rooms are cosy and relaxing and feature paintings and other items that reflect the taste of the owners, cookery expert Claire and Godfrey MacDonald.
These areas also offer afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks. The latter is a prelude to restaurant dining where local and seasonal produce abounds in the creation of impressive menus. There are additional facilities for business meetings and social events.

Dining here is a memorable experience and small wonder they’ve got their Michelin star. From pre dinner drinks and canapés, through to ever changing menus featuring locally caught and reared fish and meats, the entire event is complemented by lovely surroundings and superb service. Dining is a real highlight for the visitor and those who are lucky enough to live locally.

Spacious and well decorated and furnished, these sea view rooms are the perfect base for your stay on the Isle of Skye. Rooms are either in the main building or the impressive annexe.

Staff are exceptionally capable whilst being, at the same time, unobtrusive. Breakfast choices are impressive and served in the restaurant. Dining menus change regularly – so you won’t get bored! The whole place is delightful; a fact emphasised by the welcoming open fire.

Well, there’s no ‘reception’, full stop! Arriving guests are registered in the bar.

Disappearing acts.
Staff are very good but have a habit of disappearing into the 'Scotch mist' for quite lengthy periods.

It’s expensive for a start, so, automatically, you expect more than what is actually offered. They fall down, particularly, on unimpressive fruit and yogurt selections. It’s still good ... but overpriced.
