About Hotel Wildner
Hotel Wildner, in the heart of romantic Venice, offers some of the most spectacular views over St Mark's Basin. This classical hotel is just next to a Vaporetto (waterbus) station and seven minutes' walk to Piazza San Marco.
The en-suite bedrooms are decorated in a traditional Venetian manner, with colourful fabric wallpaper and wooden floors. The furniture is crafted by a local artisan and the chandeliers (in the deluxe rooms) from the famous glass-making island of Murano. To transform a visit into a memorable experience, superior and deluxe rooms offer unsurpassed views of the lagoon to the Piazza San Marco.
Hotel Wildner offers free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk.
The hotel's restaurant is popular with tourists and locals alike for its traditional recipes and, of course, its panoramic view.
Guests are ideally placed to explore the main sights of Venice or take a trip to the wonderful islands of Murano and Burano.

Perfect location
If you want to be right in the heart of Venice and awaken to some of the most spectacular views imaginable, this could be the hotel for you. Guests love having the water-bus station right outside and being so close to St Mark's Square. It is the incredible views from the restaurant, whilst you savour your breakfast, or from your bedroom, if you have chosen a superior room, however, that remain engraved in your memory.
positive:
Delicious restaurant
The restaurant doesn't seem to just milk its idyllic setting - it actually serves delightful traditional cuisine. Guest's who dine in the restaurant are smitten. Those who just pass by each morning for breakfast are on the whole pretty satisfied too. The choice is nice and varied and the ingredients of top quality.
positive:

Guests are pleased with the attitude of the customer-focused staff and owners in general. They are very welcoming and helpful, doing their best to help you plan your stay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
There is no lift
Guests like to make it clear, in case you had any doubt, this hotel has no lift! If you have your heart set on a top floor room with a view, you may wish to think carefully. To access the rooms you may have to go up four flights of steep and narrow stairs.
negative:
Outdated
Guests often comment that the hotel is looking tired and dated. The old furniture doesn't seem to do much for them either. If seems that without the view, the rooms appear dingy, basic and worn out.
negative:
Overpriced
Take away the location and this establishment is nothing more than a middle of the road hotel. Although Venice isn't renowned for being cheap, guests feel that the hotel and restaurant can be a bit pricy all the same.
