Negative Reviews
negative:
Read the fine lines.
When guests are making the reservation to stay at the Welcome Inn Manor, they are encouraged to read the rules and stipulations that are in place for each room. For example, if a room is now occupying an extra person, extra charges will be put in place to accommodate the extra bedding, towels, etc., that need to be washed.
negative:
South side Chicago.
Locals may know of the area, and many guests will find themselves agreeing, that the surrounding area isn't a very pleasant, if not downright dicey, place to be at nighttime. The hosts are more than willing to drive their guests into town, but walking around after dark is not recommended.
negative:
Mismatched décor.
While the décor is lovely, and guests will like it, some guests more attuned to interior design may find that the rooms have been decorated in ways that don't agree with the origin of the house. This said, the rooms are still very comfortable, and very attractive.
