Positive Reviews
positive:
The apartments are pleasing to the eye.
Previous guests loved the sleek, modern furnishings and the stylish art work that graces the walls of these apartments. The décor in the penthouse is particularly stunning. However, aesthetically speaking, the obvious highlight is the view. The apartments have a floor to ceiling window in place of the whole outer wall, offering guests an unparalleled with of Birmingham.
positive:
The location is perfect.
Guests who stayed at these apartments found them to be an excellent, convenient base for exploring the city. It right by Bullring Shopping Centre and about a 5-minute walk from New Street Station. This dense city spot is absolutely packed with shops and restaurants.
positive:
The staff is there to help you.
Having a front desk if a luxury many serviced apartments do not have. Previous guests very much appreciated the 24-hour front desk at Staying Cool At Rotunda. They found the staff to be helpful and friendly, greeting guests by name and always ready with a smile.
Negative Reviews
negative:
There's a hefty deposit required.
Some guests were bothered by the rather high security deposit required of them on check-in. In particular, they were annoyed that it typically took three to four business days for the deposit to be refunded after they checked out of the apartments.
negative:
They're not perfect.
There are a few negative reviews floating around about these, and those tend to have quite legitimate complaints. Some guests had issues such as their TV not working, no hot water, or their requests not being addressed without a reminder. However these types of problems do not seem to occur frequently. By all appearances the staff was quite apologetic about these incidents when they did occur.
negative:
It's expensive.
Many guests pointed out that the price per night is rather high, with a few expressing the opinion that it is too high.
