Location is very handy.
Seaward's situation really is second to none as everything from the beach and Grand Pier to the SeaQuarium and the Sovereign Shopping Centre all take little more than ten-minutes to reach on foot. Very handy indeed.
The family-run Seaward is located on Weston-Super-Mare seafront, just across the road from the promenade. Sea views, comprehensive menus and live entertainment are just some of the highlights of this traditional seaside hotel. There are 53 traditionally furnished guest bedrooms, all of which feature en-suite bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. Hair dryers and hospitality trays are also included. Some rooms have balconies and/or sea views. Guests can relax in the communal lounge area or watch the world go by out on the terrace area. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. A lift serves all floors. The restaurant offers a wide range of classic British a la carte options, including full English breakfasts and a carvery on weekends. Refreshments and alcoholic beverages, along with live nightly shows (high season only) can be found in the bar. The beach, pier and town centre all lie within ten-minutes' walk of Seaward.

The views from the hotel of Knightstone Harbour and the Bristol Channel beyond are nothing short of sublime. The Seaward's westerly aspect also ensures you get treated to some rather wonderful sunsets at times too.
With generous cooked breakfasts every morning and everything from fish platters and Ploughmans' lunches to jacket potatoes and mixed grills on the a la carte menu, this is definitely the hotel to come to if you're a fan of traditional British fayre.
It is a shame but it seems like the majority of the hotel's guest rooms feature tired décors, fatigued furnishings and temperamental amenities these days. Evidently, a comprehensive makeover is long overdue.
If you have long limbs then be prepared to contort yourself accordingly during your ablutions: many of the en-suite showers and toilets here are more than a little compact!
The sound of clunking lifts, rattling pipes and late-night crooners seems to reverberate around some parts of this hotel like it's being played on a repeat CD! Be sure to bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper/early-to-bed type.
