Hotel Redondo Beach Inn-LAX (Gardena, USA)

From faxing documents, to phoning around to assist guests in planning a trip, staff were always willing to help. If hotel staff could help in any small way, they would do it. Guests were impressed with the level of genuine customer service.

Cramped quarters were nowhere in sight at the Redondo Beach Inn. Newly refurbished rooms were surprisingly spacious to guests. Add to that a comfortable set-up that was always clean, and you have many happy customers of this hotel.

A morning meal that doesn't cost more than the price of a room was a bonus for many guests A cold buffet had a nice selection of food to get you on your way feeling full. Guests staying longer than a few days also weren't bored of the breakfast options.

Those who are not traveling light might want to reserve a room on the bottom floor. While this low-rise hotel only has two stories, some found the stairs to be a little hard to navigate after a day of strolling the beaches or running around Disneyland.

Some rooms at the Redondo Beach Inn face the street, which can be noisy at times. Traffic noise and general sounds of the city disturbed some light sleepers. Ask for a room away from the road for a good night's sleep.

If you are especially sensitive to smoke, another suggestion from guests is that you ask for a room far away from accommodation where smoking is allowed. Even in a non-smoking room, guests sometimes found that smoke wafted in through the open windows, or lingered in the air.
