Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf (Peralada, Spain)

The well laid out and spacious rooms provided every comfort that guests could think of. Guests unanimously agreed that this was one aspect of the hotel that didn't need any improvement.

Facilities that deserved a visit included the pool, hot tub and saunas, which were inviting and clean. The gym was also worth a look with lots of equipment and room to move around. But guests said that the jewel in the crown was the golf course, which provided areas for both beginners and advanced golfers, all under the backdrop of the mountains with impressive views.

One of the best features of this hotel in guests' opinion was the restaurant that served exceptionally delicious food. While sometimes pricey, guests said that meals were generally worth the higher cost, and that the combination of outstanding local ingredients and remarkable service was simply irresistible.

One disappointing factor for many guests was the spa. Guests said that it had so much potential, but the nicely delivered treatments were overshadowed by a lack of space, most notably a private changing area and lockers.

If you want to explore the nearby village and the surrounding beaches, you will most definitely need to bring your own transportation. While nothing was in walking distance, it was a short drive to businesses and sights.

A few guests noted that common areas could use some work. Decor was starting to look a bit tired, and guests said that modernisation would be welcomed.
