Positive Reviews
positive:
This is a great family resort.
Marriott Vacation Club – Marriott Village Playa Andaluza is a great place to bring the family because there is so much to do. Besides a separate kids pool and private beach, the hotel also features El Toro Kids Club and the MAZE kids club, which offers a host of activities, games and entertainments. The apartments can comfortably accommodate the entire family and the fully equipped kitchen makes mealtime easy and affordable.
positive:
The spa is wonderful.
There’s nothing like adding a spa day to your holiday agenda, especially when you can have that spa treatment and then just head back to your room for a cat nap. With the addition of four swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam at your disposal, you can stay relaxed for the duration of your stay.
positive:
The staff is at your disposal.
The warm and friendly staff welcomes you at check in and is there for you throughout your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and the concierge can point you in the direction of local sights, eateries and entertainments, and help you with all your transportation needs.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some of the guest rooms are gloomy.
Many of the smaller guest rooms are gloomy, especially those located on the ground floor. Many of these rooms open up to the pool area which gives you no privacy whatsoever, unless you close the drapes. In addition, the space is cramped and noisy, so be sure to request a room on a higher floor when booking.
negative:
Things can get noisy.
If you are travelling without children, Marriott Vacation Club – Marriott Village Playa Andaluza may not be the best place for you to stay, as it is very popular with families and things can get very noisy, especially during peak season and on weekends.
negative:
You definitely need a car.
If you are planning on doing any exploring or sightseeing while on vacation here, you’d probably do best if you have a car. The public transportation does not run with great regularity and even when it does, buses are crowded and they move slowly.
