Hotel Marconi (Benidorm, Spain)

The sea view is captivating. If you have a room with a terrace you will want to spend most of your time there admiring the beautiful scene. The pool on the roof adds to the ambiance of the hotel; however, it is quite small.

The rooms are clean, towels are changed everyday, and service is good overall. The staff are quite friendly as well. You feel welcomed and nothing is too much to ask.

There is plenty to do in the area. You are in walking distance to the old town and there are enough shops and restaurants to keep you busy during your stay.

You can go down the road and buy a decent breakfast at the same cost as the hotel breakfast, perhaps even cheaper. Just forget the hotel breakfast, it's less than average.In fact, forget the hotel food altogether! Of course, whether you like or dislike the breakfast will depend upon your palate.

There are no English language TV channels in the room. If you are staying for a long time and English is your language it may become a bit boring once you come in your room to settle for the evening. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms either, so forget it if you think you're going to surf the net while relaxing in your bed.

The distance of the car parking facility is quite far. It's not “nearby” the hotel at all. Put it this way, a 30-minute walk is a bit far away to park your car from your hotel. If possible, don't bother with bringing your vehicle.
