Very good location near the Arc de Triomphe
The hotel is located in one of the most architecturally beautiful places in Paris and right near attractions like the Arc de Triomphe that boasts an amazing metro station. There are frequent trains that go directly to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Marais, Bastille, Montmartre, Pere Lachaise and even a train that goes directly to Euro Disney.

Friendly and chatty staff
Even though the hotel's décor has a darker ambiance, the staff are energetic and enthusiastic about helping the guests plan the best experience possible while in the city. They are never to busy to give guests directions or recommendations.
positive:
More of a hotel for adults
If you are traveling with a family, then this hotel may not be for you. Many of the previous guests have mentioned that the dim lighting and the tasteful décor make this hotel a great place for a romantic getaway.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The bathrooms are more outdated than retro
Some guests have mentioned that there is a thin line between retro and hipster and the bathrooms are leaning more toward the side of worn-down than antique.
negative:
The lounge area could use some new chairs
While the lounge area has beautiful antique furniture, some have found that the chairs for the guests have taken enough wear and tear and should be replaced. However, most of the guests loved the worn-in look and feel of the lounge.
negative:
The rooms are a bit too dark
If you would like a room that is full of daylight with whitewashed walls then this hotel is not what you are looking for. The dim lighting in the rooms may make it difficult if you have vision problems.
