positive:
Room is clean.
While the hotel appears to be slightly worn down, rooms and communal areas are exceptionally clean. If you’re just staying for the night, the accommodations are adequate if you need a room to fit the budget. Some rooms also feature a private bathroom, but if you’re a single traveller the wash closet is shared and located outside the room in the hallways.
positive:
Complimentary Wi-Fi.
If you need to access the Internet during your stay, Wi-Fi connection is free when in the communal areas of the hotel. Room Wi-Fi is not free – you can also find Wi-Fi access at surrounding cafes or hotspots throughout the city. Public transportation is within walking distance.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noisy location.
The neighbourhood of the hotel is quaint and unique – but it can also be quite loud at times. Some of the noise is often unavoidable when staying in a metro area, such as transportation or construction, but the locals also tend to congregate around the area. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might be a concern for you. A nearby pub also creates the potential for rowdiness on weekends.
negative:
Lack of amenities.
This hotel is best for travellers who just need a place to sleep for a night. Limited amenities are available and there is no elevator access, so if you’re on any of the floors – especially if staying in an apartment – you will need to use the stairs.
negative:
Rooms get hot.
Depending on the time of year visiting, rooms have the potential to get warm and stuffy. If you need to open the window, the noise pollution from the neighbourhood could be bothersome.
