Everything is very clean and the accommodation is serviced daily. There's a balcony, the en-suite has a bath tub and there's even a washing machine in the kitchen! There's nothing missing. The members of staff are always very friendly and helpful
The free shuttle runs every 20 minutes during the day. This takes the hassle out of otherwise daunting trips into the city centre along an extremely long and narrow street which, at night, has more than a hint of danger.
The location may be a bit far out for some but the other side of the coin is being able to sit on your balcony (get one if you can) and listen to the birds and watch the squirrels playing. Very relaxing in an otherwise vibrant city.
Some members of staff don't understand English at all. Given the numbers of English speaking guests, it's surprising to encounter this problem. If you need a taxi, they understand that OK and insist that you should use the highly priced ‘set price' service. Refuse adamantly and state, very strongly, that you want a metered taxi (much cheaper). They'll understand that!
There are tuk-tuk and shuttle services, but the fact remains that the apartments are quite a way from the city centre and amenities. The plus side is, of course, that it is quieter here so you have a better chance of a good night's sleep. Well, you would have, except for those rock-hard beds!
Kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery go missing and need replacing regularly. Here, there don't seem to be any real checks, so incoming guests are faced with insufficient facilities for meal preparation and dining.
