Positive Reviews
positive:
Activities and entertainment.
Guests enjoy the full activity and entertainment programme
offered by the hotel, whether it's a water polo game or an evening show with
music and dancing. If you just want to soak up the sun that's no problem either
- you can be as relaxed or active as you like.
positive:
High standards of cleanliness.
The cleanliness of the hotel is highly rated by guests, who
say that the housekeeping team is efficient and thorough. You should have a
fresh supply of ben linens and towels whenever you need them, and all areas of
the hotel seem to be clean and well maintained.
positive:
Large pool area.
The outdoor pool is a hit with guests, who say that it's big
enough to cope with demand, and it's a pool you can actually swim in. The
extensive sun terrace means you shouldn't have to fight for a lounger, and
attentive staff are on hand to serve drinks.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Repetitive food.
The food at El Mouradi Skanes isn't to everyone's taste,
with some guests saying that the selection of food can be fairly limited, with
the same dishes repeated day after day. You might also find that the snack bars
are often closed, particularly out of high season.
negative:
Poor WiFi.
The WiFi is very unreliable, with guests reporting that they
struggle to connect anywhere in the hotel, even in the public areas. It's
definitely not something to count on, and you may have to search out
alternative WiFi spots if you're desperate to connect.
negative:
Additional costs.
Some guests are unhappy with the extra charges imposed,
especially when booking on an all-inclusive basis. You'll find that you have to
pay extra for mattresses for the sun loungers and for bottled water, among
other things, and this isn't always made clear until you arrive.
