Guests were pleased with how clean accommodation was, and for the price, were impressed with the attention given to rooms. Dusty surfaces and dirty bathrooms probably won't be an issue here.

The hospitality team at Brisas del Mar Resort really shone. Guests routinely encountered friendly staff that seemed to want to ensure a pleasant visit, and were nicely surprised when problems were dealt with in a professional, efficient manner.

This hotel advertises secured parking and guests said that they delivered on their promise. Many noticed the premises being patrolled by security guards, which gave guests peace of mind for leaving their valuables, and for walking around at night.

According to guests, it might be best to ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the street and bar. Traffic and pedestrian noise was a problem for light sleepers, and the noisy bar might keep you up with Mexican music that some guests could hear from their rooms.

There were several guests who expressed their dissatisfaction with accommodation that had seen better days. Worn furniture and carpet, along with a general feeling of rooms being past their prime, indicated to guests that it was time for not only a fresh coat of paint, but a total renovation in some cases.

Guests felt that Wi-FI reception was based on the location of their room. Rooms on the first floor closer to the front desk might have better luck getting a signal, while guests staying in rooms on higher floors often struggled to even check their e-mail.
