Undoubtedly, the best thing about this hotel according to guests is its proximity to many of Paris's most popular tourist destinations. One can get to sites like the Louvre, the Seine, Jardin du Luxembourg, and many others in a few minutes on foot. Various restaurants and boutique shops are also present within a mile range from this property.

Generally elegant ambiance
The property is aesthetically pleasing, and has a nice ambiance that many guests enjoyed. It has a central garden which affords daylight/moonlight to the lobby, and the reception area has an elegant yet homey air to it. Even individual rooms have French country style decors, which the guests loved.

Convenient for public transport
Travelling to farther parts of the country is not difficult when staying here. Guests loved the fact that not one, but three subway stops are nearby, all can lead them to the central metro train that goes anywhere in the country. The passing of taxis are also frequent for travelling to nearer destinations.

Bathroom and shower issues
The frequent issues reported by guests were: curtains have black mould, leaking faucets and bidets, rusted shower heads and shower that run inexplicably from scalding hot to freezing cold. Many recommended that the bathrooms need a general update.

Rooms in the property do not have air conditioning units. Guests said that the rooms can get hotter than a sauna unless they try to open their windows and let the hot air escape to let the cool air in.

Wi-Fi is non-existent on some rooms, as many guests have complained. Thus, guests were advised to use the computer in the lobby, but they still suffered because the Internet service was still very slow.
