Hotel Champneys Tring (Tring, United Kingdom)

Originally opened as a health spa back in 1925, Champneys Tring has a sense of history but combines them well with excellent modern facilities.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The peace and tranquility of the whole experience will create a perfect atmosphere in which to chill out and enjoy your break. There are lots of activities to occupy your time too, from long walks to yoga sessions.

You'll find your rooms to be very nice with all the amenities you need and the bed is very comfortable as well. Many rooms deliver lovely views of the grounds.

Because Champneys Tring is primarily a health resort, there's no bar, so you won't be able to relax at the end of the night with a drink. The only time you can drink alcohol is with a meal.

Sometimes the hotel uses the classic trick of turning two single beds into a double by simply pushing them together. This isn't ideal, especially when there is a slight difference in the height of the beds!

While some of the staff are great, others can be a bit off-handed and not the most helpful. You might feel like your presence is an inconvenience.
