Perfect location
Travellers to Zurich couldn't be any better located. The railway station is just a few minutes walk away, enabling you to get to Zurich Airport in a five-minute train ride. However, it is not just the proximity to transportation than guests find enticing. They also appreciate being able to step out of the hotel and explore the old town, finding nice restaurants and shops within minutes, and wander along the river towards the lake.

positive:
Value for money...relatively speaking
Don't imagine for one minute that this hotel is cheap. Let's not forget that this is Switzerland we are talking about! However, that being said, guests feel that compared to other hotels in Zurich, and considering its location, this establishment offers fantastic value. It is comfortable enough, has air-conditioning and pretty good Wi-Fi too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms are compact
Although seasoned travellers to Zurich say it is common, if you're not expecting it, you may, like other guests, find the rooms to be on the small side.
negative:
A bit dated
Whilst guests don't have lofty expectations, they would have to admit that the rooms and communal areas are not exactly modern looking. They feel a bit old-fashioned, like they were last decorated in the 1970s.

Basic continental breakfasts
Guests would prefer to have a more varied and copious breakfast than what they are offered. At present, it extends to little more than croissants, juice and a cup of tea or coffee. Some fruit, cheese or meat for starters would go down well with most of them. Whilst bacon and eggs are available, you do have to pay extra for them.
