positive:
Superb location when visiting Six Flags
Of course the main reason guests booked at the hotel was that they were enjoying a trip to the very nearby Six Flags St. Louis Park. They reported that it would have been very hard indeed to be better positioned when visiting the park.
positive:
Very impressive recreation area
Guests, especially those traveling as families, were very impressed with the leisure amenities offered at the hotel The whole “holidome” area was praised for the amenities it provided, including the indoor pool and especially the games arcade.
positive:
Wonderful staff
It was very hard indeed to find an unkind word written about the staff. On the contrary, guest after guest commented on how welcoming and friendly they were.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise from the “holidome” area
Guests mentioned that the spectacular indoor holidome area that houses the pool and other leisure facilities is perhaps a bit too popular for its own good. They describe it as being incredibly noisy, especially when there are lots of boisterous kids staying at the hotel.
negative:
Some rooms in a separate building
While most of the hotel’s rooms are in the main building, some are in an annex that is separate fro the main building. Guests assigned rooms in his building felt as if they were getting the short end of the stick, and didn’t like that they had to walk outside and were separated from the fun and activities in the main building.
negative:
Kids in the hot tub
A number of guests were disappointed the hotel did not restrict use of the hot tub to adults. They felt that the holidome area as a whole was already a boisterous kid zone, and would have appreciated it if this one amenity could have been their haven of peace from all the hubbub.
