Termas da Azenha is an ancient thermal spa and small farm, about 17 km from the Atlantic. Termas da Azenha is a small village on itself, and the accommodation consists of 5 holiday houses, 2 appartments (sleeps 2) and 4 guestrooms with private bathroom and terrace. Most of these have a beautiful mural and a bathroom with mosaic. The mosaic style has become the house style during the reconstruction; all bathrooms are decorated with mosaics. The guestrooms have a kitchenette on the terrace. There are two pools, filled with the healing mineral water of the well, which you can use freely. Not heated, but with a nice view over the fields, open from may til october. In the big room of the bathhouse you´ll find table tennis, table football and some fitness equipment. You can book a massage (relax/sports/shiatsu/hot stone) or a workshop mosaic making. In the neighbourhood you can visit the beaches, the dunes in Figueira da Foz (Serra da Boa Viagem), Conimbriga (Roman ruins with well-kept mosaics), Coimbra (oldest university and library in Europe) or Soure. You can relax in an informal and free atmosphere.
