Set in a rural location with easy access by car to the beautiful medieval town of Ystad is Red Bird Farm. With a choice of B&B or self catering options we cater for single travellers staying one night to families spending their entire vacation. The property offers a peaceful and quiet environment surrounded by nature where you can dine outside overlooking the rolling fields which this region is renowned for. The farm offers modern and tastefully decorated rooms and apartments converted from the barns on our traditional typically Swedish red and white farm and outbuildings. From here there is easy access for day trips to the bigger cities like Copenhagen and Malmö (a simple car or train journey) or if you want to walk in the footsteps of Wallander, then you will have all the guidance to see locations and familiar scenes from the TV series or how you imagined them from Mankell's books. The endless golden sand beaches of the baltic shore are just 10 minutes away where you can safely swim in the sea that regularly reaches above 20 degrees celsius! For the family there is Tosselilla, Skåne's largest water and amusement park nearby and lots of National parks to explore. A warm welcome awaits all!
