Melfort Village is a collection of 32, 4 star self-catering holiday cottages near Oban on Scotland's west coast. Our range of cottages include 1, 2 and 3 bedroom options and all of our properties are family and pet friendly. All of our cottages come equipped with everything you need for a great holiday home-from-home and WiFi is available throughout. Set in the pretty shoreside village of Kilmelford, 30 minutes drive from the town of Oban, Melfort Village is the perfect base to explore Argyll and the Western Isles from. There lots to see and do in the area including boat trips, distilleries, gardens and castles and plenty of walks right on the doorstep. Within the grounds of Melfort Village, there are great facilities including a pool with jacuzzi and exercise room. We have a beauty treatment room which is open on Tuesdays and Wednesday perfect for aiding relaxation. There are a choice of public recreation areas - 2 childrens' play areas and our adults only Gunpowder room with large TV with sky sports, books and a full size billards table. We also have a small putting green, tennis court and fishing loch available onsite. The Shower of Herring Restaurant & Bar in the heart of the Village is a great choice for nights when you don't want to cook.
