The Hotel Doña Mayor is located in Frómista (Palencia), in the French street, original route of the Camino de Santiago, few rural enclaves enjoy such universal vocation as our people. Here was born, in 1184, San Telmo, patron of sailors and navigators; besides being our town the end of the sixth stage of the Route as the Codex Calixtinux. Frómista crossing, the men chased the Faith throughout the centuries, following the path of the Apostle; and Reason, searching the sea through the Canal de Castilla, the main work of engineering during the Spanish Enlightenment. Only here, the two paths cross, to each one a work of art tutelage of first magnitude: the church of San Martin, the most emblematic Romanesque building around the Camino de Santiago and the Canal de Castilla, whose quadruple lock in the middle of Tierra de Campos blows the water 15 meters, moving it in backwater haven for their pointed locks dreams inspired by Leonardo da Vinci. We have twelve places to relax, unique places. Each room keeps intact the flame of a feeling. From "Dreams" to the suite "Freedom desired" through "humility" or "mixed feelings" all to enjoy an eternal moments.
