The hotel is ideally situated close to all the local shops and restaurants. It’s just a short walk to all the action, and you can enjoy many nights out within easy walking distance.

The hotel itself is grand and very inviting, and some would say perfect for a romantic weekend away. Its recent refurbishment has brought it up to the standards expected of a four-star hotel these days.

The staff at the hotel will do their utmost to make sure that you enjoy your stay. They are willing to do anything within their power to make you the happy guest that they feel you deserve to be. They simply cannot be faulted.

If your room is too far from reception, you may find that the signal isn’t very strong. You may not be able to catch up on your emails or get any work done if that’s your intention. Not a major concern for most but the business traveller may find it annoy

The lighting in the room is a bit on the dim side meaning that reading isn’t easy for both of you. The reading light is only on one side of the bed so you may have to take it in turns to have a read before sleeping each night.

The small rooms are advertised as such, but you may not be expecting it to be quite that small. It’s not the most comfortable of places to endure a weekend with your partner but would probably be more than adequate for a single traveller.
