DD Gamble Guest Lodge and Ranch sits at the base of the Chiricahua Mountains - the same mountains where Cochise and Geronimo and their Apache bands roamed, lived, hunted, and fought. Our lodge is a working ranch with cattle, miniature cattle, horses, and miniature horses. Here you can live the Old Wild West experience. For those guests who so desire, we can ride for a few hours or all day. For others, we will teach you to drive the miniature carriages. For birders, come and see the Elegant Trogon. With us all meals are provided in the daily rate. Meals run the gamut of gourmet to cowboy cooking. Experience a trail ride into Horseshoe Canyon with artifacts dating from the 1200's all the way to the 1930's. Experience day trips to Tombstone and Bisbee, Arizona. If you are here at the right time, help with a cattle round up and branding. This takes place twice a year usually in April and October. More than 50 miles from the nearest city, come enjoy the clear night skies, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, the livestock, and the Old Wild West. Remember all meals are included in the daily rate. Trail riding has an extra fee. No charge for carriage driving.
