Hostal Casa de Teja offers beauty of the natural countryside, is an ideal place for people looking to relax and enjoy forests, mountain roads and natural ravines, beautiful scenery and the richness of a rural community, their knowledge, traditions and crafts. We are very close to Villa de Leyva and Ráquira, the Sanctuary of Iguaque, Chiquinquirá and Tunja, 3 hours from Bogotá. We offer workshops on environmental education and organic agriculture, history and culture of the region. The hostel has a family room with capacity to accommodate 6 guests and additional beds, a large living room with fireplace, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, terraces, gardens and parking. Soon we will offer 2 additional comfortable rooms. We offer food service and a fully equipped kitchen for guests who want to prepare their meals. We are located in the mountains of Tinjacá, Boyacá, in the Santa Bárbara district, 6 km. from the urban center of Tinjacá. There are small rural shops nearby. We offer local transportation if required.
