Positive Reviews
positive:
Everybody loves the breakfast
The breakfast is universally applauded by guests. Not only
do they say the portions are generous, but there are continental options as
well as cooked options to choose from. Vegetarians are catered for too. If you
have any other dietary requirements, be sure to let the owners know in advance
and they will do their best to help.
positive:
Very helpful owners
One of the nice things about staying in a family-run bed and breakfast is the rapport that you can build with the owners, and this one is no exception. The owners are said to be very welcoming, and are happy to help guests with advice on what to do in and around Cambridge. The service-with-a-smile approach has ensured lots of repeat custom, which can only be a good thing.
positive:
Free parking
Guests do not need to worry about where to park their car when they visit, as there is on-site parking available. If the on-site car park is full, then guests can park on nearby streets at no cost.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not in the city centre
Though not a massive negative, some guests have made a point of saying that this bed and breakfast is not in the centre of Cambridge. It is in fact between 20-30 minutes away on foot, so if walking is an issue for you this is something to consider.
negative:
Small en-suite bathrooms
It has been noted that some en-suite bathrooms are quite small. This has been an issue for some guests who feel like they are going to bash their elbows on the walls, making for a less comfortable experience.
negative:
Traffic noise throughout the night
This establishment is facing a busy main road, so there can
be traffic noise through the night. This is not ideal for light sleepers.
