    Castle Townshend (The Castle) is a wonderful and unique place, and has been the home of the Townshend family in Ireland for 11 generations. Seated at the bottom of the hill in the village of the same name Castletownshend, we're just 10mins from the market town Skibbereen. Open for bed & breakfast from March to December, we welcome you to enjoy our home, steeped in history and days gone by. Contact us to book one of our six sea view double rooms. Relax and enjoy the views, the village and the grounds. You'll find warm Irish hospitality and great food for dinner at Mary Ann's pub in the village. EAT our cafe is open weekends and bank holidays throughout the year, then everyday in July and August. So why not join us for a real "lunch with a view". See you soon
