Delightful Locale Near Nottingham
This is a beautifully-arranged bed and breakfast less than two miles from central Nottingham, offering a friendly atmosphere and outstanding breakfast. You'll have all the standard continental options on the breakfast as well as the full English, and any special dietary needs are considered. (You must put in your order and desired time the night before.) Plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment along the way into Nottingham including Robin Hood tours and stately Nottingham Castle. Parking can be a bit tricky on nearby roads, so do consult the hosts about what the particulars are. One piece of advice: fold in your rear-view mirrors on both sides. Otherwise, a charming experience overall. Excellent value for the money.

Pretty Rooms
The rooms are decorated with great care and tasteful decor, with an assortment of teas, refrigerators with water and fresh milk available for your in-room hot beverages. Beds are extremely comfortable, dressed in sumptuous linens and covered with extra pillows. The televisions are large and DVD players are a nice touch. Lots of attention to detail, pristine and cosy.
positive:
Hospitable Hosts
The hosts are warm and welcoming, informative on the area, and excellent breakfast makers.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Discouraging Entrance
The area around the entrance and car park is a bit dispiriting, with dark colours, untrimmed hedges and a somewhat crude gravel walkway. Don't be afraid to come inside, however; the difference is like night and day!
negative:
Missing Housekeeping
Don't be shocked if your room isn't cleaned between days during a multiple-day stay. It appears this service is not offered. Ask for what you need - an extra towel or two shouldn't be a problem.
negative:
Traffic Noise
There is a bit of noise from the road, although not a lot. For those unaccustomed, it may keep you awake. Bring your earplugs.
