The castle gardens, the orangerie and the vegetable gardens are on display. The estate of Twickel is 4,000 hectares and has a very varied landscape: fields, meadows, old forests, moors, fens. There are two more watermills, a water tower and a sawmill. Hoeve De Haar is officially a national monument and the farm of the Hoeve is protected by the Natuurschoonwet. Nature lovers who get up early can see the roe deer walking in the yard. Hoeve De Haar is located directly on the course of the Twentsche Golfclub, one of the most beautiful courses in the Netherlands (18 holes). Be welcome in Twente!
