Amoras Country House Hotel occupies a family mansion built in the early 20th century in Proença a Nova. In a calm and relaxed atmosphere of the province, where it is pleasant to be, it is the perfect retreat to rest, regain strength and enjoy the tranquility of the Pinhal Interior region. It was built from the farm of the Baptista Diniz family, in a mansion dating from 1905. In 2004 it was transformed into a hotel, which took advantage of the aforementioned house from which the main building was recovered and a new wing was added, with 33 rooms, all have an elegant, modern and comfortable decor. At the bar you can snack and drink different wines, before going up to the Despensa-a-Nova restaurant. In each dish, we offer a little history and revive memories of other times, the result of the accumulated knowledge of the experiences of a family home in the province. We highlight several regional specialties such as the kid goat, chanfana, drowned in the wedding, kid rice, without forgetting the maranhos and the plangaio. Finish off with a bowl of arbutus ice cream. Outside there is a vegetable garden, swimming pool with bar for perfect for summer days, a tent with capacity for 400 people that adapts to any event you want to hold, and Chef's Table, a privileged place for socializing with friends, at the chef's table next to the wood oven, you can taste estonado kid and other typical dishes of the region.
